Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is wearing a tight tan one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His hair is auburn and very short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a black costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His purple hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His black eyes peer out from beneath his top black hat.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He works hard and plays hard.
History: Nicor hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Nicor alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Revenge; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She carries with her a set of spears, each one with a topaz on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her eyes are gray and catlike.
Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: She was born into a rich family. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.
Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a yellow coat. Her moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Born in the west to a Farmer, Valanthe learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Valanthe alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and wants to open a new tavern
