Description: He is a husky man, who wears dull white sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed sai, just in case. He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Born in the east to a Shoemaker, Thorpe learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Thorpe was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He stands about 3'4" and wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has moderate length black hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He has never given up on his dancing dream.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is black and curly. His black eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Courier born in the past three hundred years. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: Sammal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has wavy black hair. His eyes are likewise red.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Valafar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Valafar. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
