Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pyntle embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Carter they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Spice Merchant, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She tends to her Slave Trader job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
