History: Born to a Server, her father struggled to pay the bills. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Mayor for hire.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Body Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barber, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. The war was a terrible time for her, and Melissa does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she feels kind of lost in life
