History: Born in the north to a Cartwright, Emerald learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: He is dressed in a clean yellow cloak covering his clean studded leather. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly shields and sais. His hair is red and curly. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Korfel is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: Standing 6'7", this woman is wearing a long, black cloak. Her crest is green and curly. Her gold eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Findex is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Soapmaker for hire.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and to be a gardener again

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Alice and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
