History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Zephan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
