Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miller. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Miller, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Hunter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Hunter. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Barbena was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Body Guard. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
