Description: This late middle aged woman wears rags and sports a simple walking cane and is in decent physical shape. She has shaved her head bald. Her eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. A true patriot, Nora would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She's also a talented Barkeep, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

He prefers to carry a dagger, but if one is not available he will default to his warhammer, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is cut close to his head. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He is portly but not overly obese. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hupe fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
