History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Riswynn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She became a Ruler soon after.

Personality: Shadow wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Servant arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Doctor. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

She then took over the family business and is one of the better Assassin for hire.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well
