History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Oppleby was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Oppleby's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Oppleby and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Detective. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Aust was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Aust alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: An older woman who prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady, she is not a threatening figure. Her white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. Her eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Ellyjoybell was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ellyjoybell's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
