Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Bernard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Nagrette hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nagrette fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
