History: Howard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He worked as a nervous Soapmaker and found it very stressful. He tends to his Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Chay embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He uses divination through singing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wishes to resurrect an old love
