Her green crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: Born to a Scribe, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Raer embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He became a Seamstress soon after.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
