Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Astaro is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Astaro was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She got into the Scribe business at a young age. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving River alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
