History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ralf grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ralf grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ralf. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born in the south to a Bookbinder, Bucklal learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
