History: She was born into a rich family. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Valida's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Valida alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Valida was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pogranix embodies much of what other species detest in the Dragonborns. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She got into the Miner business at a young age. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She struck the Miner job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Miner responsibilities is difficult.
