History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Gifted from a young age, Bethrynna studied abroad. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Bethrynna and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Painter who has hired him part-time. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born in the north to a Painter, Shamash learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Shamash alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Painter.
