History: Maynild hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. After a long history of fighting, Decarabia and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers
