History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oriax fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Baelitae is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Baelitae was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it

Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He carries a battered shield and tarnished sword as well. His hair is white and curly. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Baern was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Baern decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He's also a talented Ploughman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
