Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Mordai hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Murgen was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
