History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Marigold was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Marigold's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Marigold and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.
