History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Shamash alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in the west to a Engraver, Leucis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Leucis's homeland. Leucis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He struck the Engraver job and began his own company from there.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Being a Sellsword kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
