History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Katherine alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Katherine was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
