Through the years after Margery was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Margery's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Margery and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Qualen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Qualen. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
