History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ethereal grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he prefers to wear green pants and tee shirts. His hair is cut close to his head. He has gleaming, smiling gold eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Vassago was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Vassago took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. After a long history of fighting, Vassago and his spouse have recently divorced.

She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Saphara never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
