History: She comes from a rich southern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Glassblower, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is a Guard first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Nyx was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her first spouse was a Merchant, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has achieved small success as a Navigator.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
