Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Whurbin hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. The war was a terrible time for him, and Aldous does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
