She found a children's book about a Gnome Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At a young age her mother died while driving off some giants. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in flail use. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
