History: Veit lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

This search led him directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and sabotage a competitor
