Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Thorin's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
