History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Thoradin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Kairon never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
