History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Healer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Personality: She is mildly Gnome supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and many dire rats want her driven away
