She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Barkeep they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Sellsword, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Born in the west to a Ruler, Volen learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. She has a very tight haircut. Her brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Stableman business.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.
