History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Norûk was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Norûk's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He tends to his Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.
