However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Left-Handed lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
