Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Valafar embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born in the west to a Glassblower, Valafar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. After a long history of fighting, Caelynn and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. She has a very tight haircut. Her violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and retire the richest woman in the north
