She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Banker. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She was born in the west. Through the years after Nija was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Nija's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: Burto was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Tanner. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She struck the Tanner job and began her own company from there.
