Description: This malnourished man is dressed in a clean blue cloak covering his clean studded leather. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his broad blue hat.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Pearl was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Pearl's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Pearl and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
