Sweet was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and many dire rats want her driven away
