Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: The child of a Crown-heir, who enjoyed hunting, Heian was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heian was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has worked as a Marshal like his mother before him.
