Personality: Shanairla wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Uthemar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Uthemar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mayor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and regain custody of his daughter
