Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Varis was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Doudra was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Farmer. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Eida embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Eida was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Through the years after Eida was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Eida's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Eida and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and revenge

Personality: She is fixated on the number 52. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Robbie hails from a village terrorized by giants. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Robbie was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.
