Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. After a long history of fighting, Vonbin and his spouse have recently divorced.

She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Avice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Avice was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Avice decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
