History: Born to a Sailor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student he started as a Sailor, but he got bored and became a Slave Trader. During his travels, Torz and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Torz discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Torz fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He got into the Interpreter business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Assassin, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
