History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She comes from a rich eastern family. After coming to the age of reason, Syllin took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Now she works as a writing tutor during her time off.

Description: She is a woman of bearing and well nourished. She wears a black top hat and black clothes. She has done her best to style her silver hair to look like a famous performer. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Astaro grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Astaro. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She struck the Mason job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers
