Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His hair is black and very short. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aelar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aelar. Being a Fortune-teller kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Murook was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Banker, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her brown hair is heavily combed to the right. Her black eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Apothecary who has hired her part-time. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Apothecary but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She wants to get laid.
