History: Peren hails from a village terrorized by goblins. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Peren was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult
