Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Layabout profession.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and further expansion of business

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His first spouse was a Miller, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and regain custody of his daughter

When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
