History: She comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Lucan hails from a village terrorized by giants. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for him, and Borun does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Joan was born the youngest of three triplets. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
