Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Shadow is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Through the years after Shadow was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Shadow's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Beatrice wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull green iron scale mail. Her brown hair is still thick. Her hazel eyes peer out from beneath her Stetson blue hat.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Expand her business; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her warhammer, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. Her hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
